Established in 1919, Beta Alpha Psi is an honorary organization for accounting, finance, and information system students that recognizes social and academic excellence. There are over 300 chapters on university campuses with over 300,000 members initiated since formation. The Nu Pi Chapter here at UC Irvine was initiated in 2016 and works closely with Accounting Association to recognize and support professional success for the undergraduate and graduate student community.

We present students with a wealth of leadership opportunities by connecting them to a community of colleagues and faculty members with unique talents, ideas, and backgrounds. Our opportunities encourage both personal and professional growth, instilling within each individual the confidence to reach their goals and rise to challenges of any setting.​ Along with our efforts to support students' professional and personal growth, we are dedicated to serving the communities around us. Throughout the year, we host multiple efforts to give back and make a difference in people's lives. Here at Merage, we host tutoring sessions to assist students with fundamental accounting concepts.
