The Human Resources Management Association (HRMA) at UCI was founded in 2019 by five undergraduate business students with a vision. HRMA remains the only student organization on campus dedicated to preparing future human resources and business leaders. We bridge the gap between classroom learning and real-world human capital management by offering exclusive networking opportunities with industry professionals, mentorship and internship programs, professional certifications, and career development resources. 
With guest speaker events, industry partnerships, and our affiliation with the Professionals in Human Resources Association (PIHRA), HRMA equips students with the knowledge, skills, and connections necessary to excel in HR strategy and organizational leadership. Our mission is to empower young professionals to become innovative, people-focused leaders who drive workplace solutions and shape the future of business.​

Why should you join?
​As the first and only HR-focused organization on campus, HRMA strives to expand the HR community at UCI by hosting weekly events ranging from guest speakers in HR, professional workshops, networking opportunities, and club-wide socials. In addition, HRMA also organizes a Mentorship Program in the fall, allowing students to delve deeper into their professional growth, and an Internship Program in the winter, where students are able to acquire and practice leadership and teamwork skills. We also provide our members with countless resources, ranging from resume templates and samples to HR internship openings. Our HRMA Hubs offer small-group environments for members to bond, share insights, and grow together throughout the quarter, while also providing an opportunity for members to gain leadership experience by signing up to lead a Hub. Beyond our abundance of opportunities, what makes HRMA so unique from other clubs on campus is our welcoming and endlessly supportive community that fosters the personal and professional growth of each and every member.
