Program Overview
The MUSA Representatives Program (commonly known as MUSA Reps) is a two-quarter initiative designed to connect first-year Merage students with the many resources available at the Paul Merage School of Business. These include 30+ business organizations, career development opportunities, Merage events, and more.
As a MUSA Rep, you will work closely with MUSA’s Executive Board and Associates to gain valuable professional development through workshops, guest speakers, and hands-on projects. This program is ideal for first-year students eager to get involved with the student government, learn about the Merage community, and build a lasting community.
A significant aspect of the program is the MUSA Representatives Project Groups. The Project Groups will consist of two small groups, 8 Representatives total, led by 2 Associates. The Project Groups will each be responsible for hosting an event — professional, social, or service-based — for the Merage community as a representative of our student government.
In Winter Quarter, Reps also explore a MUSA-affiliated organization through the Club Exploration Initiative (CEI). Throughout this initiative, MUSA Reps will get a chance to explore their respective club of choice through attending events, board meetings, or even helping in planning an event, offering a deeper understanding of club operations and involvement opportunities.

"As an international student, joining MUSA was my first on-campus involvement and the first community I truly immersed myself in. Serving as a Representative gave me valuable insight into the many resources available at Merage and taught me how to use them effectively for my academic and professional growth. One of the most rewarding experiences was collaborating with fellow Reps to organize our final project, a beach bonfire event, which had a great turnout thanks to the support of other MUSA members.
