Major: Business Administration (emphasis in Accounting) and Economics Campus Involvements: LARC tutor for the Intermediate Economics 100 series, mentor in the Accounting Mentorship Program, member of Accounting Association Hobbies: Working out, documentaries and reading dystopian-type novels. I am currently working on reading the Divergent series since I gave up documentaries for Lent ;( Fun Fact: I love conspiracy theories. Plans after college: After graduation I have a full-time offer at PricewaterhouseCoopers in their San Francisco office as an audit associate. However, am hoping to defer my start date for two years in order to serve as a corps member in Teach for America. Advice to the Freshmen: My advice to freshman would be to define success in their own terms. It is not wise to let their peers influence what they think success means! If they learn to be happy and confident with themselves, nothing anyone thinks will phase them. In the wise words of Shwayze, “no matter what it is you tryin to do there's always gonna be somebody tryin to hate on you.” If you could be any animal, what would you be?: I would be a human. I would not like to experience what it is like to not be at the top of the food chain!!! |
